Big Sister Elise

Elise has been a wonderful big sister the past 3 weeks! She loves her baby sister Sydney, they are cute to watch together. Elise likes to push her baby sister in the baby swing, I don't think she understands it is automatic. I like for her to think she is helping, supervised of course. Elise loves school buses she says when she grows up she is going to be a school bus driver, oh and she wants to work at Walmart. We go just about everyday anyway.

Elise had to help with Sydneys first bath. She didn't seem to mind the water.

Welcome Sydney Kate!!!

Sydney Kate was born on Friday, Feb. 13th at 4:34 AM. She weighed 6 lbs. 15 oz. and was 21 inches long. I think her nickname is going to be "long John". She takes after her Daddy! She is in the 25th percentile for weight and 75th percentile for height. She also has long fingers and toes. She has been a wonderful baby, she sleeps well at night. Usually she wakes every 3-3 1/2hrs for feedings. She never cries unless you change her diaper! The second time around isn't such a shock as the first child.

Elise has been a great big sister! She loves Sydney Kate, she gives her kisses and hugs. She hasn't shown to be jealous. Elises favorite thing at this time is cupcakes. Her and Nana made them and decorated them.
