Welcome everyone to our blogspot. We are the Martin family. Jeff, Courtney and Elise. We've created the blog so we can stay in touch with our family and friends. Hopefully through pictures everyone will be able to watch Elise grow since we are far away from most of our loved ones. So, if everyone will be active participants in the blog, I think we'll have a good time.

Jeff's new ride, Elise having fun and getting a haircut!

Well, Jeff had a great idea of saving money on the ever increasing gas prices, so he bought a moped to ride to work. It gets 150 miles/gallon and it reaches a top speed of 26mph. We live right out the back gate of base and his work is only about 3 miles away. It takes him 12 minutes to get to work now instead of 6 minutes in the car. He hasn't gotten blown off the road...yet..

I think the bike looks pretty small compared to Jeff.

Elise's bangs kept getting in her eyes so we had them trimmed last weekend. This is the after shot.

Karen at Cuts by Us is Elises hairdresser, Elise has visited her two times so far. She has been wonderful!

Elise likes to make new faces now. I think she must get that from Jeff.

Elise I do believe has inherited a cleaning gene. She loves to sweep and use the swiffer. Hopefully, she will keep it up.

This is her car she likes to ride out on the back porch.

Elise looks really innocent in this picture, however she has learned how to throw a fit for no reason. A couple of times a day she will get mad at something and throw herself down and start crying. Have we hit the "terrible twos" early? Elise is saying about ten words now including, dad, dog, ball, meow, woof, mommy, uhoh, byebye, good girl and yes.

This past month in a flash....

This past month has been full of activities. Everything from going to Texas, to working 3 days a week to having the squadron easter egg hunt today. Below is a picture of Elise at the party standing watch at the cooler. She was digging out ice and playing bartender.

UMM, I like this ice!!

Grandma Brown came down to visit for a week and was able to join in the Easter egg hunt!

Elise has a new baby doll that she loves to feed. And, no it is not an American girl doll. :)

This is a picture of us in Texas where I used to work in the Treatment Room. I worked with Holly whom is holding Elise and the lady on the far right is Mrs. Lanham and her husband Jim to the left. Mrs. Lanham has been receiving treatment at Hendrick since before I had Elise, so she and her husband knew me childless. :) I miss everyone! It was good to visit with everyone. I am working in Pensacola at a local hospital that has an outpatient IV infusion clinic, very similar to Abilene. I am enjoying it. I am working 2-3days per week.

This is Elise and I at Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas. Our appointment was on Valentines day so we both decided to wear our red! The appointment went well! Elise is doing great and we will not be going back for three years.
